Breena was raised in Blackfin Tavern the largest tavern in the seaport of Thunnus. Though neither of her parents were anglers she learned the trade of fishing by sneaking out in the morning and putting out to sea. Despite the efforts of the parents she quickly developed language foul enough to keep the sailors in the port off their toes. She quickly became a darling of the inn and by the age of 15 half the patrons at the inn were there to listen to her stories she had learned from the fishermen or listen to her sing.

Inspired by tales growing up Breena has always been one to take the initiative when events seem unjust. Short-tempered but fast-witted enough to win most confrontations without blood shed rather with words. A natural planner and strategist, her enthusiasm allows her take over most conversations and impose her will on others. On occasion she behaves erratically because she feels so strongly that justice above all else should be the virtue all should live by. When not driven by justice she would spend most days fishing and most nights drinking telling tales of Thunnish sailors laughing until the sun comes up and rushing out to fish some more. She is off to catch the famed big-eye tuna whose breeding grounds are nearby. Keep in mind, the bigeye tuna full-grown weighs six times the average Gnome. Though unlikely that she could catch one without aid, she is often fond of those tasks that seem hardest out of the urge to make every moment in life an epic journey.

It is because of her need to seek out new adventure that she was on that boat that lead her to her destiny. You see, it is customary for a Gnome to travel on the maiden voyage of a newly built ship to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Gnome’s are the greatest ship builders in the world and will stay that way because of their dedication. Breena’s parents selected her to go, as they felt that going out to sea and doing a Gnome’s work would be good for her foul temper and rash ways. Little did they know that Breena was looking for the perfect opportunity to leave home and seek out adventure, in the hopes of becoming the world’s most famous fishing Bard.
